When I received an invitation from the Goodlyf camp to attend a certain party at their premises, I wondered what they were celebrating but not knowing that it was simply to celebrate Bebe Cool shooting.

Straight from Rwanda where they had successful performances, the Goodlyf crew held a party and invited several people to attend. Two goats were slaughtered accompanied with all kinds of drinks at their new home in Makindye. To make it even more interesting, they kept on playing Bebe’s hits like bogolako, Agenze among others.

Bebe accompanied by three of his aides were shot by an SPC police man just after Effendy’s bar at Centenary Park shortly after they had had a verbal confrontation with the Goodlyf crew.

All musicians are supporting Bebe Cool to sue the police under their umbrella Uganda Musicians Federation and most of them visited the Agenze artist but when the Goodlyf were approached to at least send him a get well message, they simply said it wouldn’t bother them even if he died.

Wishing Death to a fellow musician is simply outrageous but this now shows the rate at which beef in the entertainment industry is heading.
