Nigerian singer/songwriter Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo aka D’banj is rumored to have hooked up with a Tanzanian girl.

Speculation is that the two got together in mid October and by the look of things the ‘Fallin in Love’ star is already pouring his heart out to the woman ‘Khadija.’

The two met in Dar es Salaam during the MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMAs) roadshow Road to MAMAs in Tanzania. The musician won the MTV Artiste of the Year 2009 at the awards gala in Nairobi a few days later.

A source told us that D’banj and Khadija are indeed very close.

”D’banj loves Khadija. He even flew with her to Nairobi and stayed with her at the Tribe hotel. They’re so into each other and who knows he might propose soon,” said the source who claims to be close to Khadija.

Photos of the two have been circulating on Tanzanian websites.

After the success of his first single No Long Thing, D’banj took on the persona of Koko Master persona, with the term, koko, taking on a variety of meanings. A kokolet is defined by the urban dictionary as “a fine woman with curves in the right places. ”
