DJ Michael taunts Peter Miles

Still at the Bobi Wine launch, musicians never stopped sniping at each other. DJ Michael amused quite a number of revellers at the Carolina launch. One of the causes of amusement was how much time he took on stage. DJ Michael had to be ‘politely’ reminded by emcees that each musician was supposed to perform for not more than five minutes.

This was in order to give a chance to the many musicians who were waiting to come onto the stage. But before leaving the stage, DJ Michael could not help taunting Peter Miles who had performed before him.

Although Peter Miles is generally acknowledged to be Uganda’s leading dancehall musician, DJ Michael declared himself, ‘the real King of Ugandan dancehall’ because of his hit singles that include Muko Muko and his latest Kwata Kwata. DJ Michael seems to be stoking controversy before the launch of his 7-track Kwata Kwata album towards the end of October. The usually cool tempered Peter Miles refused to take the bait although he was noticeably annoyed by the jibe.
