Bobi Wine’s wife, Barbara Itungo, has rubbished reports that her husband raped a girl. Media reports had indicated that Bobi raped a girl in a parking yard at one of Kampala’s night clubs. For his part, the Mazzi Mawanvu singer denied the allegations.

When Winnie Banage and Kudu Isaac of Vision Voice called him during their V-drive show on Thursday, he said: “How can I rape a woman who is in Kampala when I am in Iganga?

I am not a sleepwalker that I sneaked out of the hotel room at night and went to rape a woman.” He said he first got the news from his wife. Bobi Wine went on to say he has no intention of suing the perpetrators of the rumours.
