Singer Jose Chameleone will once again enjoy some airtime on international news channel BBC sometime next month.

The BBC crew spent four days with Chameleone filming last week. They toured his house in Seguku, as well as the rental apartments the musician is setting up in Nansana.

The crew also captured Chameleone recording a new song in his Leone Island studios at his house in Seguku.

Chameleone said he had no arrangements of any sort with BBC, but was surprised when he received a call from a lady seeking an interview with him. “They told me they had said everything about Africa’s problems and they are now working on the several channels people are taking to overcome problems like poverty, war, HIV/Aids and child abuse,”

Chameleone said. He added that they chose him because they believe his music tackles a number of issues and is therefore an inspiration to many suffering people in East Africa.
